5Great TeetherMar 15, 2010
My little girl is 5 months old and she LOVES this teether! It's not just trendy it's fantastic. She chews on its ears, legs and can easily grasp it with her hands or fall asleep with it in her arms. Great product!

5A must for all babies!!!Mar 15, 2010
We bought this after seeing it and reading all of the wonderful reviews.
Our daughter was about 3 months old when we introduced her to Sophie. Right away you could tell she was interested in this cute little multifunctional and purposeful toy. Her eyes quickly widened and she was constantly just looking at her.
Within a week or so, she started to reach for her and now she is holding her constantly and chews on her several times throughout the day. Sophie comes with us everywhere!!! Our daughter is teething already and has been for several weeks now...so this has proven to be the perfect toy by far! Also, I would recommend getting a pacifier holder, (one with snap may be best) to put around Sophie's neck and to attach to your baby's bib, car seat, whatever you choose. Sophie is smaller, and with your baby trying to figure her out, it may end up on the floor, or worse, lost for good. ;(

Again, it's a must...get one for your baby, and she/he will love on her for months to come!

5An absolute godsend!Mar 15, 2010
Sophie the Giraffe was a big hit with our son. We easily had a half dozen different types of teething toys in our house that our son ignored when he first started teething. We even bought theVulli Chan Pie Gnon Cool It Soother Teether, Green, but that was the one he liked the least.

When squeezed, Sophie squeaks. It isn't a loud jarring sound like a pet toy. It's just loud enough to gain the interest of a little one.

As for the food-grade paint, I cannot rave enough about that. It is such a relief to find a teether made with the safety of babies in mind.

3Sophie TeetherMar 14, 2010
It's a big price tag for a teether. My husband still teases me that I could have gotten 10 toys just like it for the same price at petsmart. But, the materials are all safe and natural and something about the design makes it irresistible for babies to chew on. It also squeaks, so if you have a dog that likes squeaker toys, skip this baby toy unless you want the dog to steal it. Teething isn't forever, your child may think this toy is the coolest thing since nipples on bottles, but by the age of two at the absolute latest, more likely before the age of one, your kid is going to ditch this toy. Ask yourself if you want to pay more than $10 for a toy that is meant to be chewed on and isn't going to hold any interest for your child a year from now.

5great for teething babiesMar 14, 2010
My son loves this and he can easily grip it himself. Which is great as he's becoming his own little person and wants to hold things himself. He can chew on the head, legs and feet. I never leave home without it as it too keeps him occupied in the dreaded carseat.
