 Stepping is such a blast!May 12, 2010
The cost of the Step was a little bit overwhelming at first, and I wasn't sure that I was ready to invest in it, but I'd done a few step workouts before and I knew that I really liked them. Thanks to the Step, I actually look forward to coming home every day so that I can work out! It's really fun, which keeps me consistently working out.

The stair step work well, is extremely sturdy and arrived exactly as depicted. It is larger than I had anticipated and of course although the pieces stay put once stacked, they don't stay together if you are attempting to move the thing which makes the item less than perfect for my uses. I was trying to use it with the Wii Your Shape and you need to be able to push the step to the side or set it aside quickly. Not going to happen with this stair step, but this is of course no fault of the manufacturer. It's wide and large and very easy to use once in place.

I had this step in undergrad and had to give it away when I was travelling abroad so I brought it again but when I recieved it the black plastic is coming off; nevertheless it doesn't interfere with the work out. I am loving the step and step aerobics.

I purchased this item 2 weeks ago as my niece gift from amazon.com.
But I never receive my order until today I found out they shipped my item to wrong state Jackson, MI.
What kind of joke! I live in California not MI.
The customer service is so poor. They told me it will take more than 1 week to replace my order. I want Customer Rep. to find out why they shipped to MI even my default receiving address is CA. Customer Rep. told me they can do nothing about this. The only choice either replace or refund. That's all he can do.
This is the 2nd time they made same mistake. Fist time they delivered my son's book to wrong address but good thing is in the correct state. But this time they sent to wrong state. I think I won't buy anything from Amazon.com from now on.

For those who love to aerobic step, the last thing they want to have to be concerned with is whether the step is going to slide or (worse!) tip while they are stepping. Bad enough to be injured by the actual workout--to add injuries from an unreliable step surface makes the workout useless. That was the unfortunate story of my workout life before I found The Step. This base stays put during the workout. The Step feels very stable and solid, and will not tip. The surface is huge (actual stepping surface area is 36" x 14") and completely non-skid. The top segment can be used alone for beginners or combined with "feet" segments according to stepping ability. Storage is easy, since the "feet" pieces separate and/or can all stack together, independent of the top segment -- you can definitely put this under a bed.
The Step is exactly like the ones found in health clubs and is well worth the price. Highly recommended.
