I like it as much as my toddler!Mar 10, 2010
This is a great high-chair. I like the design, it's sturdy, doesn't damage my cork floor when you slide it around and my toddler loves it. I've had this since my daughter was around 7 months old and she's now 21 months. I like the fact that this chair will grow with my daughter for years to come.

This is the "must have" high chairApr 24, 2009
This is the second Stokke Tripp Trapp that I have purchased. The first is still in use by my now four year old daughter. This one was for my one year old son. It really is the "must have" high chair. Both of my children sit comfortably and eat dinner at our dining room table every night. I bought the plastic baby guard for this chair because our older seat only has a waist belt, but this newer seat has an over the shoulder harness, so I don't think we even needed the guard. This seat is worth the money...your little ones will be sitting in it for many, many years.

My son was very unhappy with the plastic Graco highchair that we first tried. It blocked his view and was overly confining both of which agitated him. He is very happy in the Tripp Trap and I know it will last for years. It is also very attractive. On the down side, I was not at all impressed (nor was my son) with the baby set and had something made out of leather instead. Also, I wish there was an affordable option for a tray for the early finger food days. The concept of eating right off of a placemat on the table is great and will work when my son is a bit bigger, but my table is too high for him currently even with the seat at the highest notch and a tray would be much more practical than buying a whole new dining table!

If you want to buy a seat that you can fully adjust to give your child the best support while sitting, get the Tripp Trapp. Not many seats have a sturdy leg rest -- great for toddlers, and no blockage to the dining table -- great for eating with us at the table. It's pricey but it'll last for a very long time. We sometimes even use it as a ladder to get stuff from higher shelves. It's that sturdy.
