Sleeps anywhere!Feb 20, 2010
Yes, this is expensive - but that said, our son sleeps in this in the stroller, in the bassinett, and we use it for a traveling bed anywhere and everywhere. I even use it as a safe, sanitary and convienient changing table in the car and in stores. The one thing is that you have to transfer the baby from the car seat to the cocoon - well I figured I always have to take him out anyway to change a diaper or nurse...so what's the difference? I didn't get this till my fourth child, I wish I had had it with my first. (I have a Phil & Ted's Sport and sit my toddler on top - what an awesome design! No one touches my infant or even sees him - except me!)
It has a hard bottom and sides and the top zips up and has a flap that can cover over by his face, but still allow for air - keeping him warm and happy when we are outside.
Conclusion: well work the $$

LOVED this item! Expensive yes, but made for seamless transitions from stroller into house. I have a squirmy little one who is excellent at throwing off blankets, and this was perfect for keeping her warm!
