3Wonderful, but lid could fit betterMar 09, 2010
The pre-measured packets are extremely handy---you just toss one in, add the warm water, and shake gently. The lightweight plastic is also quite nice. My only problem with this system is that the threading on the plastic cap is difficult to line up properly, and it can take several tries to get it on straight. (Not to mention, if you don't get it on straight, you can end up with saline solution leaking out around the cap.)

As for the general idea of a sinus rinse, it's *fantastic*. I was dubious, but it does an amazing job of clearing out post-nasal drip from allergies and such.

1Rinsing is good, but not with this pot!Jan 02, 2010
Rinsing the sinuses is a great thing to do, but this pot is poorly constructed and water leaks from the top because you can never get the lid to close properly. I contacted the company and never got a reply. We bought two of these, one for my husband and one for myself and they both have the same problem. Do yourself a favor and buy one of the other brands!

2Poor quality defeats purposeDec 17, 2009
The idea behind this product is sound, and when you can get the blamed cap on securely it works, but that isn't often. The cap and the top of the pot are threaded, but getting the threads to engage is an exercise in futility. After enough fiddling, you can get the top on somewhat well, but by that time the water inside is no longer warm. Since flushing your sinuses with cold water is unpleasant, you will end up using the pot with more water escaping from the under the cap than from the spout.

4...but I still didn't get the free sprayer they offered.Oct 26, 2009
The product seems to work fine. It is a little disgusting to use but it does the job. However...the company sent a flyer saying that their other product, a spray bottle version of the same thing is a better product. Just fax the flyer to us and we'll send you the spray bottle for free. So I did...and I'm still waiting for the bottle. Hmmm.

Can't use all the liquid in pot because it leaks out. Pretty good for the price, though.
