Fine until it failedFeb 09, 2010 I was happy with this product until it suddenly failed after 18 months of use. It was not dropped or mistreated in any way. One day it was working fine, then next day it just flashes the Kodak logo when turned on, then the display goes blank. Repairing through Kodak will cost $125 plus $10.95 S&H, which is absurd. I expect an electronic product to last more than a year and a half, so no more Kodak products for me.
Very poor reliability for the priceJan 25, 2010 The appearance of the product is very acceptable, but viewing is restricted to straight angles. The color was good and the picture quality was excellent, in the beginning. I mounted mine on the wall and it was going all the time. It began to have glitches after a couple of months sticking on one picture, then the color started to change to a red hue. Now it won't run at all. When I turn it on the Kodak banner comes on briefly, then the screen goes black. Not very good reliability for a $200 item. If I had to make the purchase again, it wouldn't be this one!!
The expensier digital frame I have ever boughtNov 19, 2009 I really do not know how can I rate this item, what I would really like to rate is the service given. I bought the digital frame specified for 120-240V and Amazon delivered the 120V, therefore I asked to refund the equipment and they told me that I had to pay the 15% of the product anyway plus the shipping fees. In addition they said that I was responsible for the freight. I decided that it was not worthy to give back, so I went to Best Buy and I bought a new one. By the end I spent twice because Amazon did not provide what they specify. The funny thing is that this is the second feedback I give. They already asked me for the service and product delivered and when they got a negative feedback they contacted me back willing to "buy" the negative back. They offered me to give me back all the money and the freight fees if I remove the feedback. Does the QA/QC make sense if they buy the negative inputs?
Likely I will receive another e-mail asking me to remove the feedback, let see.
Regards
Nice productSep 12, 2009 Nice product. When sony was too expensive to afford this product is really reasonable to buy.
Only problem with this is you have to resize the photos as someone earlier also mentioned.
and I wish it would have some battery backup which is missing in most of the photoframes. I guess they will soon launch with this also.
Kodak Easyshare reviewFeb 08, 2009 Works well. The interface can be somewhat confusing, if you want to select a given folder.
