one of the most used items in the first 2 monthsMar 12, 2010 I put this on my registry and received it as a gift. It was one of our most used items in the first 8 weeks. I have to say that now at 2 months we use it alot less. Maybe because baby is in a growth spurt and I am just feeding constantly lately.
a must have for baby's first weeksMar 09, 2010 We received this as a registry item with our first child (now 20-months old). We're now using it with our second child (4-weeks old). It was and still is one of the best items to have and use. It's particularly helpful for the first weeks/months the baby is home - when you're sleep deprived, can't remember if you're coming or going or just plain going nuts! I use every one of its feature, and can direct dad and sitters with many as well. Only problem is keeping it out of my toddlers hands (she thinks it's a toy). Also, it would be nice if it had a neck string or something like that to help carry it for those 3am feedings when your hands half work. Also very useful for other timing purposes - cooking, TV watching, game playing, how long since we ordered the pizza, etc..
Love, Love, Love this!Mar 05, 2010 I use this everyday to time my feedings, diaper changes, and when to take my pain meds. My baby gained 2 oz 5 days after birth and the Dr was flabbergasted saying that most don't get back to birth weight until 2 weeks after birth. I think its because I have this item to remind me when to feed. The flashlight is handy to peek into the diaper in the middle of the night to see if changing is needed.
Too Expensive but Very Helpful!Feb 17, 2010 The Itzbeen timer is a fairly simple device that isn't really worth 25 dollars but is very helpful in keeping track of diapering, etc when you are busy with more then one child or are sleep deprived. I had a preemie and had to pump every few hours and I also had a 2 year old son that needed to go on the potty often so I used the timer for both and it was so helpful. I love that you have the option of an alarm or just a flashing light. I also love that it has a locking feature because it keeps my older son from resetting it. The size is great for traveling with too!

Not worth the moneyFeb 11, 2010 The Itzbeen timer was one of the things I was most excited about getting when I was pregnant and stocking the nursery to prepare for my son's arrival. I thought that it would be so helpful and that it would also come in handy while in labor to time the contractions. I was wrong. It is by far the least used baby item we have and it was totally not worth the money we spent on it. It is not user friendly at all. Once you start one of the timers, it's impossible to turn it off. You just have to keep resetting it. I found it much easier to just write down the feeding and poop/pee diapers in a notebook than using this worthless piece of techno-junk.
I completely regret buying it and even if it is something that other parents have actually found useful, it's still not worth the money because it's poorly made for the price. I don't recommend this product to anyone.
