This hot water bottle is designed so that one must insert the bottle in the cover before filling. No matter how tidy I try to be, I always end up with water spilled on the cover.
It would have been much better if they had not tapered the top of the pocket, although I suppose that would have marred the duck design. Still, there are much more convenient covers out there.

My little brand new granddaughter was suffering terribly from colic. I introduced her to her Soft Yellow Ducky hot water bottle and I could actually see her relaxing immediately! She actually hugs it like a stuffed animal and goes to sleep. I recommend strict adult supervision when using a hot water bottle on an infant!

The water bottle cover is very cute and childlike. It serves the purpose. My disappointment was that I thought it would be an infant sized water bottle which I had not been able to find in stores. It is not the smaller size I envisioned. It works though and has character.

I love my ducky water bottle. It's alittle bit hard to pour hot water in it. I got hot water pour on my finger two times. I have to wear rubber gloves and use a funnel when pour hot water in it to not get burn again. Overall I love it.
