Not worth the money.Dec 13, 2009 For this much money, you could buy about 10 aprons - which would accomplish the same thing as one Hooter Hider. You're basically paying for a thin piece of fabric that, albeit very cute, is largely useless. The special feature that they market is a rounded neckline through which baby and mother can see each other. That's fine, but if baby is old enough to want to look at mama while nursing, it's going to be old enough to want to pull the Hooter Hider off entirely. I only used this a handful of times until I discovered that my coat, a blankie, or shirt were just as convenient when it comes to hiding your hooters. I wish I hadn't paid so much for it.
The only good thing I can say about this item is that the prints are very stylish. But is that worth the money? There are many useless baby products on the market, and this unfortunately is one of them.

Excellent Choice for being discrete in public.Aug 16, 2009 This is an easy to use cover to be discrete while breast feeding in any situation where you don't want everyone to see you. I personally like my privacy and this is the perfect answer.

Great product! Love it!Jul 30, 2009 This nursing cover works like no other I have tried. It is absolutley a great design. It also works well for a light cover for car seats or if you have your baby in a front carrier like a Baby Bjorn. I use my Hooter Hider everyday. It also washes well.
not worth the moneyJul 11, 2009 This nursing cover is not worth the money at all. I always have to readjust it,because my daughter likes to play with it and she pulls it from side to side. The way it works is you just kind of hang it on your neck (like you would hang a necklace or something),there is no straps on this cover which will hold it in one place. I really don't like it and i wish i had returned it on time,so i didn't waste the money. The only thing is good about it is a white&black pattern. Do yourselves a favor and don't buy it,there are so many other nursing covers, that are much cheaper and better.

Not a fanJun 20, 2009 I bought this product because I am anticipating a road trip with my seven month old and wanted something that would allow me to be discreet while nursing in my car at rest stops. I think it is a great idea, and it would likely be great for use with newborns, however, once your child is old enough to start grabbing at everything in sight (4 months or so), the "hooter hider" (not a fan of the name either, by the way) becomes a nuisance. My son likes to yank on the fabric, every which way, to the point that wearing it draws attention as opposed to diverting it.
I find that while I am wearing it, I am spending more time rearranging it than concentrating on the task at hand, which is feeding my kid.
Again, in theory, this is a great product, in practice, it is awkward and more trouble than it is worth. I will stick with closing the blinds while I am at home. As for the road trip? I am not looking forward to busting out the hooter hider, but it may just be a necessary evil in that situation.
