Great Nursing top!Jul 13, 2010 I feel like I'm writing a review for a different product than everyone. The clasps are not the least bit challenging for me to open and close while holding my baby. I typically wear a medium, sometimes small, but I followed the advice of reviewers and sized up. A size large fits me perfectly. I haven't experienced any discomfort with this shirt, either. During this hot summer, this nursing top has been great. It's not thin by any means, but it a lot cooler than a t-shirt on these 90-100 degree days. The fact that it holds nursing pads is a bonus as well. I despise wearing bras, and this provides enough support alone for me. (previously a 34C, Probably a D now) I'm convinced this is the most stylish, comfortable, functional nursing top available from my experience with it. I recommend for anyone to at least try ONE top.
A MUST FOR TALL or LONG TORSOJul 11, 2010 I have four of these tanks specifically in the LONG style. I am 5'10" and love the way these fit a "long torso". There is nothing worse than a tank that rolls up over your stomach, or refuses to cover your post baby tummy - as all the other ones I have seen do. Great tight support in the bust, and all over. These are probably 6 inches longer than any tank on the market, which is awsome, as they do not ride up. I also like that extra length to hold you in (like a shaper), and to scrunch at the waist area, so you don't have that stuffed sausage or leotard look. To the reviewer that said, "if you aren't real tall, save yourself the money," - no kidding, why did you buy a long? Yes they are pricy, (and I am someone who has all used baby items - these are worth the splurge) but if you are really going to nurse, several are a definate need. I sleep in these too, and because of the tight fit, I don't leak. For me, they have replaced nursing bras, nursing pads, pajamas, and well - clothing, for a more modest look, I wear button down shirts over tank, either open or closed. Sometimes you can find them cheaper on ebay. By the way - they wash, dry, and are holding up very well. No complaints, except price.
Nice & LONG!Jun 09, 2010 I am currently 38 weeks pregnant with my 5th child. I have tried a few other popular brands of nursing tanks with my older children, but never a Glamourmom until I managed to snag one on clearance during a store closing sale. I ordered a Small even though I am generally a 36 band size, and was a little worried it would be too tight, but it stretches comfortably and doesn't dig into my ribs at all. Best part of it is that it is actually long enough to cover my gigantic belly! After 5 pregnancies in 7 years, my pregnant belly drops and protrudes outwards the way you'd expect of someone carrying multiples. It is nearly impossible to find tops that are long enough to cover my belly. I am so thrilled to have gotten this for my last weeks of pregnancy - it has been a godsend! I tend to agree with the other reviewers about the itchiness though - not sure if it's the mesh, or the seams, but something is a little scratchy. The straps are a little narrow and do tend to twist a little bit, but don't dig in and are still comfortable. The shelf bra provides light to medium support, but works for me. Overall, I think this will be a great staple addition to my nursing wardrobe. :)
Great design casual nursing topMay 13, 2010 Easy to get on, no bra required. This built in one works fabulously and is very supportive, I even wore it horse back riding.
It lost one star only because the clips can be difficult one handed while holding a squirmy impatient baby but the overall design of the shirt is grade A.
I have it in the long to help cover up some wiggles and it is tight enough to grip without showing it all.
My wife Loves itMay 05, 2010 Remembering how much my sister loved her Glamourmoms when she had a baby, I bought a Glamourmom Long Tank for the wife. It fits her so well, she has bought two more in different colors from the website. My wife tells me that she wants to keep wearing them even after she stops nursing. New dads, if you want to get in good with the wife, get her a Glamourmom. Trust me on this one.
