Love themDec 08, 2009 I love these bottles..this is my second baby and the second time we have used them. I did decide to use glass this time and love them. You can warm your formula or breast milk up very quickly just under running water. You will need to learn how to use this system but once you do...its no big deal. I also am a huge supporter of Dr. Browns because he lives in my town and I trust what he has accomplished with these bottles. I will say his old bottles went up to 8 oz on the big ones and 4 oz on the small ones (which these do not..7 and 3) so that makes things difficult b/c of how formula is scooped out but again minimal effort involved. Another issue is that the glass bottles leak...I figured out that after you shake your bottle and warm it under the water..just simply loosen the lid again and allow the milk to run back out of the tube and into the bottle. Takes a second, but I have learned this does prevent the milk from dripping on your babys neck..Hope that helps people:)

Well worth the moneyDec 02, 2009 Recently purchased these for our newborn son. They are excellent. Have not had any troubles with the writing coming off & they are easy to clean as all the parts come apart. Highly recommended.
Great glass bottles with good flow and very toughNov 24, 2009 We use these bottles day in and out with our son who is only bottle fed. They are very durable and easy to use. I like that they are glass for the amount of times we just throw them in the dishwasher to clean and sanitize them. The markings and paint have never come off the outside.
Great bottles - tedious to clean over timeAug 28, 2009 I bought Dr. Browns from Babies r Us the first time around and selected them b/c they were the only glass bottle they had in stock. My baby took to them immediately and had no issues whatsoever. She spit up a normal amount when younger and rarely spits up large amounts anymore. the only reason I gave the bottle system 4 stars is b/c they are tedious to clean. There are five parts (bottle, collar, nipple, vent tube and rubber vent holder) and all need to be washed. They give you a nice tiny brush to wash the tube and rubber vent holder but having to switch from that tiny brush to a normal bottle brush for every bottle can get annoying.
I will add one caveat and that is that I wanted minimal clutter in the house so we only bought two bottles to keep in the home so we were constantly washing them. If you have more supply of bottles then you can put them in the dishwasher and your work is done more easily! I am not sure how well the smaller parts wash in the dishwasher but I am sure they are fine.
All in all, a great bottle system. I tried the Momo glass bottles a month ago b/c it had a simple structure to it, but when my baby drank from it, the nipple would suction together and couldn't get anything out of it. Poor thing was sucking so hard and no milk was coming out. I think it was b/c there was no venting system to help the airflow. We returned the immediately and went back to Dr. Browns.

Work great. No problemsAug 06, 2009 We've been using Dr. Brown's glass bottles for 7 months now and have experienced no problems. We don't have a dishwasher so we handwash everything and I wonder how many folks have experienced problems due to deformation of the plastic parts in the dishwasher. Never had a leak, and we haven't broken a bottle yet. We have graduated through the nipple sizes though. Those worried about comments regarding complexity of parts need not worry. Assembly is simply pressing the plastic tube over the beige fitting, placing the nipple in the screw cap holder, putting milk in the bottle and screwing the top on. The only thing you have to remember is that you can not warm this bottle assembled with the lid screwed on tight or the milk crawls up the tube and screws up the system. No problem though. Just loosen the top if you want to warm it. Personally we warm in the Lansinoh milk bags because it takes maybe 90 seconds under running water to get to temp and the baby is not a patient critter. Clean up is quick and the tiny brush is supplied.
