4finally, wide mouth and glass!Apr 26, 2009
I was searching specifically for a wide mouth glass bottle, and Born Free makes one of the only ones available. We tried umpteen combinations for our breast fed boy, who insisted on a wide nipple, and this worked for him and fit my criteria by being glass. My only quibble is that there are so many parts to wash, a characteristic not unique to Born Free. I also like that there are so many nipple flow options, and we have had no issues with them collapsing.

3Did not work to transition from Avent.Nov 04, 2008
My son was 8 months old when I learned about BPA. I purchased the Born Free glass bottle because the nipple looked much like the shape of the Avent nipples, and I wanted to transfer him to a BPA free bottle. I ended up buying nearly every size of nipple that Born Free makes, but every one collapsed when my son tried to drink from it. I wonder if this bottle would have worked better if I had used it from the beginning. I love the thought of it, though!
