5Maybe tall people need to stack two, but overall, I LOVE IT!Mar 12, 2010
I am a HUGE fan of this pillow! It keeps my arms from getting tired while holding my precious baby, and it keeps her close to me when we nurse. I think if your torso is long enough, you may need to stack two on top of each other, but if you use regular pillows, you'd have to do the same thing! :) A definite "must-have" for new moms! One of my favorite and one of the most useful baby items I've employed so far with my newborn baby girl!

5Great for more than just baby!Mar 09, 2010
When my sister got her boppy it was wonderful, and the listed uses had it functioning wonderfully. But my review is about my experience with it. My mother and I both have Fibromyalgia, but often have to make long car trips that result in us both being in a lot of pain. One day on a hunch, my mother tried using the boppy as a support cushion.. It was amazing! And for me, it was a lot more suited to my shape and size than the round cushions they sell for posture support. So long after the baby is up crawling around, the Boppy can be a useful tool for stressed or hurting mommy or other family member! Even if it isn't for your taste for nursing, don't throw it out- try it as a support- either sitting on, leaning back on, or bracing your neck- first!!!

4Expandable Middle IS a MiracleMar 05, 2010
I have two Boppies -- an original Boppy and one with a Miracle Middle. I have been having a difficult time with latch and positioning with the original Boppy. I bought a second one (for the second floor of my house) today, after contemplating buying a My Brest Friend instead and I am SO glad I gave Boppy another chance. Something about the Miracle Middle has made nursing just come together for us all of a sudden. Positioning and latch are happening and the Boppy is playing a major role. The Miracle Middle is definitely a miracle!

I will be consigning the original Boppy and buying a second one with a miracle middle.

4Useful, but not for breastfeedingNov 24, 2009
So here's something I didn't know when registering for baby products: lactation consultants hate the Boppy. At least, mine did. They all recommended using the My Breast Friend pillow instead. As it turns out, my baby and I were lousy at breastfeeding (not the Boppy's fault!) so I can't comment on whether my LCs were right or wrong, but I do know that I don't regret purchasing the Boppy. It's far more useful than you'd think it'd be. Baby used it for tummy time, and as a sitting aid, and to lounge around in (an infant fits neatly right in the middle!) Mom and Dad use it to rest our extremely weary heads while sitting on the living room floor playing with baby. The cats use it to store extra fur they're not using. All in all, a useful thing to have around.

4Multiple uses!Oct 29, 2009
I could not breast feed and still love this pillow-- when I first had him it was soothing and comfortable under my stomach. It helped older great-grandparents feel comfortable with holding the baby, good for when your arms get tired, tummy time, and a nice prop to have him next to you while you eat-- and it's now becoming nice to help him sit up!

I was disappointed in the price of it though. Seems a little much for the life period it will get.
