I am a first-time mom and was looking for a nursing cover to use during a family visit over the holidays (which would include a constant stream of visitors as our daughter was born just before Christmas, and I knew it would not be practical to head upstairs each time she needed to be fed). I stumbled across this product on Amazon and although initially hesitant as it was rather pricey, I am SO glad I pushed the boat out and purchased it.
It is really easy to use - adjust the strap to give you the right view (you only need to do this once unless you undo it for washing, as the clasp holds the strap really well), and just slip it over your head each time it's time to feed. The cover is the perfect length and width and doubles well as a shield from bright light when baby is sleeping. Also, I find that if you iron the cover after washing, it hangs even better over baby. The print is really stylish, too (ordered the mint chocolate).
We live in Europe and I have received so many compliments and everyone asks where I got it (or rather, they automatically say, '...you got it in America, right?'). What a simple concept - sort of an apron with a curved wire on top - so glad Bebe Au Lait thought about it!
I suspect this will last me through to the next two children, however, if for whatever reason it does not; I would not hesitate to purchase another one!

Love the pattern, love the product. The top piece is a little stiff (by design) so you can easily peek in and see what is going on. Very lightweight and fits perfectly. Only problem - it smelled like it was in a dirty basement for a year before it was shipped to me. I got it the day before I had my baby and I was up washing it 3 times before I could get the smell out. I could tell it was never used, it just smelled from wherever they stored it prior to shipment.

This is great, so glad I spent the money. You definitely need the kind that you can see the baby without holding the fabric. I had a cheaper one before that you had to hold the wrap to and it was impossible to get the baby latched on comfortably.

Finally! Just in time for our 5th child - someone comes out with this amazing, stylish nursing cover. I love this one - the pattern isn't too loud. Fabric is light and airy, yet covers ALL that needs covering - I especially LOVE the boning around the top - that allows me to see baby and what I'm doing while I'm nursing - I've ordered 4 more to go with all possible outfits! Another ingenius feature of this nursing cover is the thick terry cloth sewn in to each corner to wipe baby's milk face if you're w/o a burp cloth. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT - IT'S A USEFUL MUST HAVE - in the world of SO MANY USELESS baby products!
