Great pump-great price!Apr 21, 2010 I bought this pump 10 years ago and am now using it with my 5th child. I pumped at least once a day for several months with each baby, (currently several times a day with this last baby) and the pump has held up perfectly. Parts are easy to order and replace; suction is easy to control; and for me, pumping has been quick and effective. The motor is as good as it was 10 years ago. It has saved us hundreds of dollars in formula, easily replacing its initial cost years ago. Highly recommended.

Good pump! Help me through two kidsApr 29, 2008 I bought this pump in 2003 when my son's born...and used it again when my daugher is born three months ago...
Great pump!
Exclusively pumped 10 weeks with this pump, Still works great.Mar 19, 2008 Used this for exclusive pumping for 10 weeks and it worked well for me. It is priced much lower than the very overhyped competitors. My best friend-an engineer--went through 3 expensive Medela/Ameda pumps before trying this one. And this is her fave. Because it has a filter that keeps milk from getting into the pump apparatus, it has lasted much longer than the other types. It has good suction, and I can empty both breasts in 15 mins. I like being able to self regulate the cycles and suction to my comfort level. Does have to be plugged in, does not have a battery option.

I thought this said Ameda?Jan 27, 2008 Firstly, the product we received is not Ameda it is Bailey Nurture III. My wife indicated that this did not have much suction and was not as effective as her manual pump, even when only pumping from one side at a time. The product in my opinion is unsatisfactory, and if I purchase another one for her later, I will be doing a little more research before buying one.

good pump, needs improvementJan 15, 2008 I had this pump for one year. this has a feature where you can control your own suction and speed by putting your thumb on and off the breast flange top. I did enjoy controlling the suction. It had good suction but there are a lot of parts to replace. I found it kept getting milk back up in the tubing. I spent a lot of money replacing parts every 6 weeks or so. Other than the milk back up, the pump worked fine.
